Celebration of 60th Year of Indian Independence
Little Hearts Elememtary school(LHES), kanakapura has celebrated 60th year of indian independence ceremony on August 15th 2007. All students, teachers and members of shivakrupa education trust have actively paricipated in this ceremony along with the honorable guests.
Programme started at 9:00 A.M with the welcome speech by Shri Shivashankar, Principal of LHES, kanakapura.
Indian Flag was hoisted by Shri. Nagaraj, retired BEO of kanakapura at LHES premises followed by a simple talk about Indian freedom and patriatism.
Shri Shanthakumaraiah,the national awardee and also a retired Headmaster of Rural education society, kanakapura gave a wonderful speech on responsibilities of students in building the national integration. He also impressed the kids with the patriotic songs and moral stories.
In view of encouraging young talents, Shivakrupa education society has offered a homage to Shri Hrudaya shiva, the upcoming poet also a film literate. Hrudaya shiva has addressed the kids with the fluent and simple words and recalled his olden days and how he grew up to become a successful film literate.His contribution to the recent super hit movie Mungaru male is memorable.
Shristi, Shobha and Krishnamoorthy, the 2nd std students sang few songs on glorious 60th year of Indian Independence.
Vasantha,the teacher of LHES, had offered a vote of thanks.
Lastly procession went out in the streets of Lakshman layout, Kurupete with the Slogans ‘Bholo Bharath maatha ki jai’. ‘Mahathma Ghandhiji ki jai’ etc..
60th year of independence ceremony ended with the sweet distribution.
